ROLE SUMMARY
The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This individual will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and business needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with business users, project managers, and technical teams to identify opportunities for improvement, define project requirements, and support solution delivery throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather and document business requirements
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiency
• Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, process maps, workflows, use cases, and user stories
• Translate business needs into clear, detailed, and actionable requirements for technology teams
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical resources throughout project delivery
• Track project requirements, issues, risks, decisions, action items, and status updates to ensure alignment and accountability
• Support User Acceptance Testing activities, test scenario development, and solution validation efforts
• Ensure implemented solutions meet documented business and functional requirements while supporting project governance and reporting needs
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting technology, operational, or business transformation initiatives
• Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and managing business and functional requirements
• Strong experience working directly with both business stakeholders and technical teams in a cross functional environment
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel for requirements tracking, reporting, analysis, and project documentation
• Experience creating process maps, workflows, business process documentation, and future state recommendations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience supporting technology implementations, system enhancements, or business process improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, Agile practices, or hybrid delivery models
• Experience developing dashboards, status reports, and project governance documentation
• Exposure to requirements management tools and project collaboration platforms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment
