Position Overview
Seeking an enterprise-grade Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with 6–8 years of experience to design, build, and deploy high-quality components within an agile delivery landscape. This role requires an established background executing multiple end-to-end full lifecycle project deliveries on AEM 6.5+ platforms, seamlessly bridging backend Java microservices, modern headless structures, and web components.
Key Responsibilities
* Component & Core Engineering: Design and build optimized modular components, editable templates, responsive dialog structures, custom UI widgets, and OSGi bundles using touch UI libraries and Adobe Core Components.
* Content Repository Administration: Write clean, low-latency queries interacting directly with the Java Content Repository (JCR API) suite, Apache Sling web frameworks, and Apache Felix OSGi (R6/R7) engines.
* Asset & Workflow Management: Architect automated data ingestion paths, customized asset management lifecycles inside the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, and long-running business review workflows.
* Headless CMS & Content Delivery: Construct modern content-as-a-service layers using Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and scalable REST API channels.
* Environment Deployment & Testing: Lead source packaging and system builds using Apache Maven; collaborate inside continuous integration spaces via Jenkins or automated Selenium validation test suites to push applications across Dev, QA, and Production stacks.
* Performance Optimization: Perform application performance tuning, manage network caching layers, and ensure stable network communications across standard HTTP, SSL, and TCP/IP protocols.
* Cross-Functional Team Delivery: Partner closely with Technical Project Managers, UX design tracks, and specialized QA automation teams to ship high-performing features on schedule.
Required Skillset
* Experience: 6–8 years of total professional software engineering experience, specifically including at least 6 years focused on Web Content Management using Adobe AEM 6.4/6.5+ environments.
* Core Development Stack: High proficiency working with Sightly/HTL templates, advanced Java concepts, Sling Models, Web Services, REST APIs, JSON, and XML schemas.
* Platform Delivery History: Documented hands-on background implementing at least 2 full-lifecycle, production-ready AEM implementations.
* Interview Mandate: Candidate must be absolutely local or prepared to attend a mandatory, compulsory In-Person technical interview round.
