- Responsible for building custom applications to ingest, process, and visualize operational and enterprise data
- Hands-on development role using Python, SQL, and Linux-based systems (not a low-code environment)
- Partners directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and drive end-to-end delivery
- Collaborative, fast-paced team environment with expectations for strong ownership and minimal ramp-up time
Must-Have Qualifications- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong application development background (beyond scripting/support work)
- Proficient in Python for application development, automation, and use of common libraries
- Strong SQL and database querying experience
- Solid experience working in Linux environments with mid-level command line proficiency
- Proven ability to gather requirements and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience independently managing timelines, priorities, and technical deliverables
- Comfortable working onsite in Richmond, VA
Nice-to-Have Qualifications- Exposure to machine learning concepts or workflows
- Experience building internal, data-driven tools or platforms
- Background supporting asset-heavy or operations-focused environments
- Familiarity with Bash/Shell scripting
- Experience with backend data ingestion and visualization pipelines
- Exposure to enterprise-scale Linux server environments
