DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
• Research and exploration of user requirements, costs, and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process.
• Responsible for analyzing the business needs to identify new processes and process improvements that will meet those needs.
• Documents current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
• Analyze detailed system factors including input/output requirements, information and paper flow, hardware, and software needs.
• Analyze “soft" system factors including roles, responsibilities, policy, culture, etc.
• Evaluate the impact of potential software and process changes on the organization.
• Develop and facilitate groups as necessary in pursuit of eliciting and defining requirements.
• Assist in the creation of the business case documentation.
• Understanding of architectural consistency and usability standards.
• Defines and develops user test cases and validates test results during testing.
• Executes unit and functional test cases.
• May conduct system demonstrations and training sessions, as well as participate in design/review of training content.
• Plays a third level support role by helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience leading data migration requirements from legacy systems into a new ERP (Sage X3) environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management, with emphasis on data mapping, transformation rules, and validation
• Deep understanding of data structures, data quality, and migration best practices, with the ability to identify gaps and risks early
• Self-driven and accountable professional with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to drive outcomes with minimal oversight
• Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience in any of the following business areas is desired: Sales operations, order entry, accounting, finance, procurement, warehouse operations, order management, and order fulfillment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ business analysis or systems analysis experience is preferred.
• Bonus: Sage X3 experience (ERP).

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Digital Financial Systems, this position will be a key functional leader responsible for shaping, optimizing, and sustaining global capabilities in SAP ECC/S/4HANA. This role partners with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and IT to drive business process standardization, deliver scalable solutions, and support enterprise initiatives. The Senior Analyst serves as a strategic advisor, leading complex solution design, guiding cross-functional decision-making, and ensuring strong governance, data integrity, and compliance across the enterprise.
There are two open positions. This role is designed with flexibility; technology and domain focus will be shaped to align with the candidate’s modernization and transformation experience. The specific domain focus will be modeled to maximize impact based on prior experience and demonstrated strengths in the following areas – O2C, P2P, R2R ensuring the greatest impact to the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Process Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as the senior functional SME for SAP processes within domain.
- Drive harmonization of global processes; identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and integration improvements.
- Advise leadership on design decisions, roadmap implications, and industry best practices.
Solution Architecture & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end solution design for complex enhancements and integrations.
- Translate advanced business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Govern SAP configuration for process areas.
- Partner with technical teams to guide development, testing, and deployment.
- Produce high-quality documentation including process flows, solution designs, SOPs, and test scripts.
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide Tier 3 support for high-impact issues; perform deep root-cause analysis and recommend systemic fixes.
- Support global process owners and partner with super users and SMEs.
Project & Change Management
- Lead workstreams for major projects (e.g., SAP migration, system upgrades, divestitures, business integrations).
- Facilitate workshops, solution demos, and decision-making forums with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Own testing cycles for SIT/UAT and drive defect resolution.
- Create and deliver training and communication materials to support global user adoption.
Governance, Data Quality & Compliance
- Strengthen governance and controls for applicable master data within domain.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, audit requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Promote documentation quality and consistency across regions and systems.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on SAP ECC or S/4HANA experience.
- Deep functional knowledge of configuration I applicable functional areas.
- Strong understanding of integrations within domain and other modules.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex SAP projects or workstreams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence decisions and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in life sciences, CRO, biotech, or other regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA migrations or global system implementations.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, iDocs, EDI, RAP, API integrations, or cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of ASC606 / IFRS15 revenue recognition processes.
