DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
• Research and exploration of user requirements, costs, and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process.
• Responsible for analyzing the business needs to identify new processes and process improvements that will meet those needs.
• Documents current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
• Analyze detailed system factors including input/output requirements, information and paper flow, hardware, and software needs.
• Analyze “soft" system factors including roles, responsibilities, policy, culture, etc.
• Evaluate the impact of potential software and process changes on the organization.
• Develop and facilitate groups as necessary in pursuit of eliciting and defining requirements.
• Assist in the creation of the business case documentation.
• Understanding of architectural consistency and usability standards.
• Defines and develops user test cases and validates test results during testing.
• Executes unit and functional test cases.
• May conduct system demonstrations and training sessions, as well as participate in design/review of training content.
• Plays a third level support role by helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems.
• Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience leading data migration requirements from legacy systems into a new ERP (Sage X3) environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management, with emphasis on data mapping, transformation rules, and validation
• Deep understanding of data structures, data quality, and migration best practices, with the ability to identify gaps and risks early
• Self-driven and accountable professional with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to drive outcomes with minimal oversight
• Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience in any of the following business areas is desired: Sales operations, order entry, accounting, finance, procurement, warehouse operations, order management, and order fulfillment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ business analysis or systems analysis experience is preferred.
• Bonus: Sage X3 experience (ERP).

The Senior Manager, Finance Business Process will join our Financial Systems Data & Innovation team to lead cross‑functional initiatives, improve R2R processes, and strengthen Finance master data governance. This role plays a key part in shaping our digital transformation and optimizing end‑to‑end finance operations and provides an opportunity to impact a large-scale digital transformation project within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Digital Financial Systems, this role leads R2R and Finance Master Data improvement initiatives, defines high‑level process flows, identifies efficiency opportunities, and develops business cases and roadmaps. The Senior Manager partners closely across Finance and IT to deliver scalable, compliant, and data‑driven solutions.
Key responsibilities include leading initiatives and workstreams, mapping high-level process flows, and translating business requirements to identify efficiency and process opportunities that result in business value. Responsibilities also include preparation of project materials and related readouts for program initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings advanced SAP proficiency, a strong understanding of R2R processes, and expertise in master data governance and its cross‑system impact. This individual will champion process governance principles and lead cross-functional workstreams to tackle complex process and data challenges, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of our digital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities, leveraging digital tools and technologies.
- Develop process flows, documentation, and root cause analysis to drive operational efficiency.
- Translate business requirements into actionable recommendations and solution designs.
- Champion change management and continuous improvement across Finance.
Program/Project & Delivery Management
- Lead R2R and master data workstreams, ensuring delivery of objectives, milestones, and stakeholder alignment.
- Project management of smaller initiatives.
- Manage project risks, issues, and progress, providing clear and timely updates.
- Support training, business readiness, UAT coordination, and adoption of new processes.
Master Data Governance (MDG)
- Contribute to master data governance strategies and best practices to improve data quality and integrity.
- Member of the Global Master Data Governance (GMDG) team providing stewardship, promoting master data best practices and participation and/or leading master data initiatives.
- Participate in the development of data definitions, business roles and processes related to master data that supports and ensures data quality standards.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- 5+ years in digital operations or financial systems, preferably in the life sciences.
- Strong knowledge of R2R processes and cross-functional impacts.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (FICO, master data; S/4HANA preferred).
- Experience with enterprise tools such as BlackLine, Jaggaer, SAP BPA, SAC, and MDG.
- Proven ability to lead system and data transformation initiatives. PMP certification a plus.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in finance optimization initiatives and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of master data governance in large enterprise environments.
