Position Title: Senior Oracle Fusion Subscription Manageemnt

Background: our client is migrating from their current ERP to Oracle Fusion.  The client’s business model is based on Subscriptions; thus, key subscription-based business processes will now be managed in Fusion.  The legacy ERP contains a large volume of operational data required to manage multi-billions in current subscription revenue.  At the same time the client is growing quickly and needs to get fully migrated to Fusion to help them scale.  

Objective: The primary objective of this engagement is to extract and convert data from source systems. The Senior Oracle Fusion Data Conversion Specialist will work with end-customers and project teams to understand business needs and ensure successful implementations.  The Senior Oracle Fusion Data Conversion Specialist will perform conversion testing to ensure proper functionality and data accuracy.

Must haves for this role:

• 10+ years of experience in complex data migration projects
• Intimate knowledge of Subscription-based business models
• Strong overall knowledge in the Oracle Fusion ERP suite of modules
• Strong experience in “best practice” use of the Fusion Subscription Management Module
• Ability to work on Alteryx to transform data from different sources, build rules and create files for consumption to Oracle Subscription Management, Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), and other Fusion modules

Key Responsibilities:

• The Senior Oracle Fusion Data Conversion Specialist is responsible for:
• Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the converted data
• Communicating effectively with clients and project teams to ensure successful implementations
• Proactively identifying and resolving issues with data-related errors and issues
• Ensuring that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget
• Maintaining documentation of conversion processes and best practices

Scope of Day-to-Day Work:

The Senior Oracle Fusion Data Conversion Specialist will perform the following duties:

• Data Extraction: Identifying and extracting data from source systems
• Data Transformation: Converting data to a new format or structure, often involving mapping and scripting, utilizing Alteryx
• Data Validation: Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the converted data. Creation of reconciliation and validation reports for use by relevant business teams
• Data Loading: Loading the converted data into the new system or database
• Testing: Performing conversion testing to ensure proper functionality and data accuracy
• Collaboration: Working with end-customers and project teams to understand business needs and ensure successful implementations
• Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving data-related errors and issues
• Documentation: Maintaining documentation of conversion processes and best practices. Detailed, Quality and usable documentation is a must

Ongoing Deliverables:

• Documentation: Create documentation of conversion processes, developed artifacts and best practices
• Test Plans: Develop test plans to ensure proper functionality and data accuracy
• Reports: Create reconciliation and validation reports
• Make Data Conversion framework, artifacts, processes, and procedures repeatable
• Provide ongoing, accurate updates across designated project management tools, meetings and as required
