SAP MM Functional Data Migration Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an SAP MM Functional Data Migration Consultant in Tampa, FL.

Overview:
The SAP MM Functional Data Migration Consultant is responsible for defining and executing strategies to transition procurement and inventory data from legacy platforms into SAP environments (ECC or S/4HANA). This role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and readiness throughout testing and deployment phases, while aligning migration activities with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Migration Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive data migration strategies, including cutover planning, sequencing, and validation frameworks for MM-related data objects
* Data Mapping & Transformation: Translate legacy data structures into SAP formats (e.g., Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records), establishing transformation and business rules
* ETL Oversight: Lead extraction, transformation, and load processes using standard SAP data migration tools and methodologies
* Data Quality & Validation: Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and issue resolution to ensure integrity and completeness across all migration cycles
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with functional and technical teams to support mock conversions, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live readiness

REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience with SAP data migration approaches in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
* Strong expertise in SAP MM configuration and business processes
* Proficiency with data migration and ETL tools (e.g., SAP-native utilities and data services platforms, LSMW, BDC, BODS)
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, coordinate testing cycles, and support cutover execution

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
