Summary

Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently, we are searching for a Mid–Senior EDI Developer to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.

This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position that sits onsite (5 days/week) in southeastern, AL (Relocation Assistance Available).

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex EDI maps, workflows, and integrations within a modern B2B integration platform environment.
  • Build and modify business processes that support high-volume transaction processing, including acknowledgments, error handling, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transaction issues independently, including researching failed transmissions, 997 discrepancies, and backend data inconsistencies.
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives such as migrating legacy programs to SQL-based processes and transitioning from middleware-based integrations to direct API-driven feeds.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external trading partners to onboard new integrations, support transportation/logistics workflows, and ensure secure data exchange via AS2, SFTP, or related protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing architectural improvements aimed at reducing legacy system dependencies and improving data flow efficiency across ERP and operational platforms.

Position Requirements:

  • 4–10+ years of hands-on EDI development experience.
  • Strong experience building EDI maps and business processes within a major EDI translation platform (e.g., Sterling, Gentran, SPS, Cleo, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of ANSI X12 transaction sets (such as 850, 856, etc.), structured data formats (XML, JSON, flat files), and secure file transfer protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN).
  • Ability to independently research, diagnose, and resolve complex transaction or workflow issues without heavy oversight.
  • Experience working with SQL and backend data transformations; exposure to legacy system modernization is highly preferred.
  • Bonus: familiarity with API integrations and ERP-connected EDI workflows.
