Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced EDI IBM Sterling Integrator Developer with 15+ years of hands-on expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and support of EDI solutions, ensuring seamless data exchange across supply chain systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, deep EDI knowledge, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy EDI solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
Develop, maintain, support, and monitor Sterling Commerce applications and pipelines.
Lead architecture and implementation of EDI integrations across systems.
Work extensively with BPML (Business Process Modeling Language) and Sterling adapters.
Build and manage EDI maps for formats such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and Flat Files.
Configure and support communication protocols including FTP, SFTP, AS2, and VAN.
Monitor EDI transactions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior EDI developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

15+ years of experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (version 5.2.6 or above).
Strong expertise in EDI development and integration.
Hands-on experience with BPML and Sterling adapters.
Proficiency in:

DB2 & SQL
XML, XSLT
Web Services & APIs

Solid understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
Experience with file transfer and communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and as a self-starter.
