PC Deployment Technician (3-Month Project)
Overview:
We are seeking PC Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale thin client replacement initiative across multiple locations in the Madison area. This is a hands-on, project-based role focused on preparing, configuring, and deploying thin client devices.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and configure thin client devices at a centralized staging location
• Perform onsite deployment and replacement of devices across various Madison based locations
• Troubleshoot hardware and basic network connectivity issues during deployment
• Support Active Directory tasks including user/device setup and access verification
• Document work completed and escalate issues as needed
• Collaborate with a team of technicians to complete deployments on schedule

Required Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, connectivity, and end-user support)
• Working knowledge of Active Directory
• Ability to follow structured processes and deployment timelines

Nice to Have:

• Internship experience in IT

Project Details:

• 3-month contract
• Schedule: Primarily afternoon/evening hours (12:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
• Combination of onsite travel and centralized staging work

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
