Role Overview:We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join a fast-paced, collaborative engineering team building modern, cloud-native applications. This is a hands-on role for an experienced developer who enjoys working across the full technology stack-from designing robust backend services in Java to delivering polished, scalable front-end experiences using Angular. You'll play a key role in driving quality, performance, and automation while contributing to solutions that are built to scale.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Java (17/21), Spring Boot (3.x/4.x), and Angular (19.x).
- Build and enhance REST and SOAP-based services with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites, including end-to-end testing using Playwright.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following TDD and BDD best practices.
- Optimize SQL queries and data access layers to ensure efficient system performance.
- Package and deploy services using Docker and support cloud-based environments (AWS/Kubernetes).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and static code analysis remediation efforts.
- Contribute to modern architecture patterns and messaging solutions (e.g., microservices, JMS).
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 5-8 years of professional software development experience (preference for closer to 8 years).
- Strong expertise in Java 17 and 21, Spring Boot 3.x/4.x, and modern Spring frameworks.
- Solid front-end development experience with Angular (19.x preferred).
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright (Java preferred; TypeScript acceptable).
- Proficient in SQL with hands-on experience writing and optimizing queries.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and development technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-starter who is organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with Agile methodologies preferred; mortgage industry knowledge is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $55.00 and $72.54 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
