Key Responsibilities:- Design and build scalable microservices using Python
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data environments
- Create and implement data models and data structures for new applications
- Design and build end-to-end data pipelines in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
- Develop data integration architecture to support enterprise-wide initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Build and integrate REST-based APIs for data-driven applications
- Analyze, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources into unified systems
- Lead technical design efforts and contribute to overall solution architecture
Qualifications:- 5-7 years of experience in software development, design, and integration
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python (microservices, OOP, frameworks such as FastAPI or Django)
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, including complex queries and performance optimization
- Strong experience designing data models and data structures (key differentiator)
- Proven experience building end-to-end data pipelines
- Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS preferred; Snowflake experience a plus)
- Experience with relational and cloud databases (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Proficiency with development tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Bitbucket, Jira, etc.)
- Experience working with large datasets and data integration across multiple sources
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred: - Experience with Tableau or other BI/reporting tools
- Experience with ETL tools and pipeline orchestration (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
- Experience with PySpark, Databricks, or large-scale data transformation tools
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $82.26 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
