Senior Technical Data Product Owner

As a Senior Technical Data Product Owner, you will play a critical role in shaping how data is transformed into actionable insights that drive business decisions across an expansive international network.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with a global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence team to lead the end-to-end delivery of data solutions—from requirements gathering through design, validation, and business adoption. You will act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with operational priorities.

What You’ll Do
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from diverse stakeholders across multiple regions and functions
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, including detailed source-to-target mappings for data integration initiatives
- Design and develop mock-ups, prototypes, and dashboards to clearly communicate solution concepts
- Validate and verify data solutions to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with business expectations
- Lead the transition of solutions to business users, including training, documentation, and ongoing support
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, fostering strong collaboration and trust
- Drive alignment between business priorities and technical delivery, ensuring solutions meet performance, quality, and usability standards
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data accessibility, usability, and impact
What You Bring
We’re looking for a proactive, collaborative leader with a passion for leveraging data to solve real-world business challenges:
- 5–7 years of experience in business analysis with a focus on data, Business Intelligence, or data engineering
- Strong technical foundation, including proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and BI tools such as Power BI
- Hands-on experience with data integration and source-to-target mapping
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional documentation and organizational abilities
- Passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly data solutions that empower decision-making
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges quickly while maintaining a focus on quality and performance
- Experience working in Agile environments with modern project management tools
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
