Job Description:

Cloud Administrator

6 month contract to hire

~$45-50/hr, conversion salary ~100-110K (based on performance)

Primary Purpose:

We are looking for a Cloud Administrator / Cloud Operations resource to support day-to-day infrastructure and cloud operations while helping reduce operational bottlenecks across tickets, AVD, Entra/M365, software/access issues, endpoint support, and connectivity troubleshooting.

This role will help stabilize daily operations and free existing system admin and cloud engineering resources to focus on cloud migration, modernization, and higher-value engineering work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day operational support across infrastructure and cloud services
  • Help reduce ticket backlog and improve response times
  • Troubleshoot AVD issues, including user sessions, access, performance, and connectivity
  • Support software/access issues and endpoint/user escalations
  • Assist with Entra ID and M365 administration
  • Support basic Azure administration tasks
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues across user, endpoint, cloud, and private application access
  • Support monitoring alerts, backup checks, and routine operational tasks
  • Assist with documentation, knowledge base updates, and operational handoffs
  • Work with engineering team on escalations and recurring issue remediation

Required Skills:
  • Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure administration
  • Experience supporting Azure environments
  • Entra ID / Azure AD administration experience
  • M365 administration experience
  • AVD support or troubleshooting experience
  • Endpoint/user support escalation experience
  • Basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Strong ticket management and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
