job summary:
This position is for a software developer as part of automation &
autonomy teams creating solutions for heavy-duty equipment / machines. This individual will also help with product integration.
location: Mossville, Illinois

salary: $46.00 - 48.85 per hour
work hours: 7am to 3pm

responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation & autonomy features for real-time control systems
- Generate requirements
- Collaborate with the team members for the design approach to develop the features
- Develop the features
- Issue resolution through triage and troubleshooting
- Test plan development and software validation
- Coordination with system engineers, machine systems, software and validation teams
Interaction with team:
- The individual hired for this position will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate, and test robust, scalable features on embedded electronic control systems for use in automation & autonomy machine applications.
Team Structure
- Working within a 6-10 person development team
Work environment:
- A combination of office and proving grounds
qualifications:
- Years of experience: 4 years of relevant experience; Masters - 3 years
- Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited engineering or Computer Science or equivalent technical field
