Systems Engineer

job summary:

This position is for a systems engineer for the development and

integration of advanced technology with heavy-duty equipment /

machines. This includes the integration of sensors, components, and

software for automation & autonomy products.

location: Mossville, Illinois

salary: $44.00 - 46.85 per hour

work hours: 7am to 3pm

education: Bachelors



responsibilities:

- Translate customer / commercial requirements into system requirements

- Decompose high-level automation & autonomy features into system-level functional requirements, maintain clear traceability and documentation

- Define the system architecture, interfaces, and integration strategy across the machine subsystems

- Collaborate on the design approach and trade-offs

- Develop features integrating across hardware, software, sensors, and control systems

- Create and track FMEAs

- Cross-functional coordination with machine systems, software, digital teams, validation, and product support

- Issue resolution through triage and troubleshooting

- Track schedule, deliverables, and technical risk

qualifications:

Years of experience: 5 years of relevant experience; Masters - 3 years

exp

- Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited

engineering or robotics or equivalent technical field;
