Our client is seeking a Network Engineer/Architect in Tulsa, OK.

Role Description

We are seeking a seasoned Networking Engineer / Architect with CCIE credentials to provide immediate coverage and leadership following the departure of our primary networking engineer. This role will support enterprise and campus networking environments and serve as critical staff augmentation while a permanent hire is evaluated or onboarded.
The ideal candidate is hands on, highly technical, and comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor with architectural ownership.

Provide day to day support, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise and campus network environments
Serve as a senior technical authority for routing, switching, wireless, and network architecture
Lead design, implementation, and documentation of network solutions and standards
Support network change management, upgrades, and ongoing operational improvements
Troubleshoot complex incidents and performance issues across LAN/WAN/WLAN environments
Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure network stability and scalability
Step in as primary networking SME during the transition period and knowledge transfer
Ensure networks align with security, performance, and availability best practices

Skills & Requirements

Active CCIE certification (Enterprise Infrastructure, Routing & Switching, Security, or related track)
8+ years of experience in enterprise and campus networking
Strong hands on experience with:
Cisco routing and switching
Enterprise LAN/WAN architectures
Wireless networking (design and support)
Proven experience in network design, architecture, and deep troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and take ownership in a high impact role
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non technical audiences
Must be located in or willing to work onsite in Tulsa, OK (no remote option)
Experience acting as a lead engineer or network architect
Exposure to large scale enterprise environments
Prior experience in staff augmentation or transitional roles
Security networking experience or CCIE Security a plus
