Summary

Resource 1 is seeking a BI Developer for a fully remote contract position. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a BI Developer and should have experience working with different BI tools, such as Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create compelling data visualizations that drive business insights.
Receive data sets from Data Engineers and create visualizations.
Make updates to existing dashboards.
Document report specifications and development processes for knowledge transfer and future reference.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to existing BI solutions.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a BI Developer.
Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in creating data visualizations that tell a clear and compelling story.
