Job Details
Resource 1 is seeking a BI Developer for a fully remote contract position. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a BI Developer and should have experience working with different BI tools, such as Tableau and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create compelling data visualizations that drive business insights.
- Receive data sets from Data Engineers and create visualizations.
- Make updates to existing dashboards.
- Document report specifications and development processes for knowledge transfer and future reference.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to existing BI solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer.
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in creating data visualizations that tell a clear and compelling story.
