Senior .NET Developer (MUST currently be in Arkansas)

PAY: W2 = $50-$55/hr | 1099/C2C = $60-$65/hr DOE
American Computer Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in managing the design, development, and support of complex .NET solutions for state government business needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of ASP.NET Web Forms applications within a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings significant experience in MODERN WEB ARCHITECTURAL TRENDS and SQL SERVER management.
Required Skills & Experience
- Expert-level development skills with the .NET framework, specifically C# and VB.NET.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining ASP.NET Web Forms applications.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server 2008 and above, including database design and management.
- Experience with newer web technologies, including CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Demonstrated experience with Web Services and modern architectural trends.
- Experience performing and participating in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
- Proven ability to identify risks and make recommendations for industry best practices.
- Experience meeting with and managing the expectations of key stakeholders.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of complex ASP.NET Web Forms applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases to meet evolving business requirements.
- Lead and participate in design and code reviews, providing guidance and oversight to the team.
- Identify technical risks and provide actionable recommendations for coding standards and best practices.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular meetings and clear project communication.
- Collaborate in a team environment to develop and update architectural standards.
- Ensure all .NET solutions align with state government business needs and security protocols.

Education/Certifications:
