Role: Profisee MDM Architect/Consultant (Product & Goldenization)

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Profisee Consultant to lead a comprehensive MDM engagement focused on environment stabilization, pipeline automation, and AI-assisted goldenization for product master data. This engagement spans environment setup across Dev/Staging/Production, workflow automation using Profisee's pipeline catalogue, and configuration of matching, merge, and survivorship rules with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI capabilities to increase throughput and data quality. The consultant will also be responsible for training an internal Data Engineer to independently operate and extend the platform post-engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Stabilization
Review the current Profisee dev environment, data model, and enrichment pipeline
Identify and resolve known configuration issues and process quirks
Assess data quality across loaded product data (multiple source ERPs) and flag remediation items
Evaluate available AI-assisted capabilities across pipeline automation and goldenization
Recommend configuration changes and best practices
Environment Setup & Configuration
Configure and validate three environments (Dev, Staging, Production) with a defined promotion workflow
Define environment-specific roles, permissions, and access controls
Implement QA gates and validation rules within Profisee
Configure source system identifiers to track record origin across multiple ERPs
Pipeline Catalogue & Workflow Automation
Configure and optimize Profisee's pipeline catalogue to streamline data processing and increase throughput
Build automated workflows for ingestion, validation, enrichment, and approval routing
Implement AI-assisted automation (e.g., automated classification, attribute suggestion, anomaly detection) where it adds measurable value
Establish monitoring and alerting for pipeline health and processing status
Document pipeline configurations, workflow logic, and automation rules
Goldenization Configuration
Configure matching and merge rules (match, merge, survivorship) for product goldenization
Implement AI-assisted goldenization capabilities including fuzzy matching, confidence scoring, and automated merge recommendations
Design the framework to extend goldenization into vendor/supplier and customer domains
Configure business approval workflows for golden records
Validate golden record output and integration with a downstream Snowflake environment
Document goldenization rules and decision logic
Knowledge Transfer
Train an internal Data Engineer on Profisee administration, environment management, and troubleshooting
Train the internal team on pipeline catalogue configuration and workflow automation
Train the internal team on goldenization logic, matching/merge rules, and AI features
Deliver comprehensive documentation and conduct structured handoff sessions
Required Qualifications
Proven hands-on experience implementing and administering Profisee MDM, including multi-environment setups and promotion workflows
Strong experience with match/merge/survivorship configuration for goldenization (ideally product domain; vendor/customer domain experience a plus)
Experience with Profisee's pipeline catalogue and workflow automation features
Familiarity with AI-assisted MDM capabilities (fuzzy matching, confidence scoring, automated classification/anomaly detection)
Experience integrating MDM outputs with downstream platforms, particularly Snowflake
Experience working with multi-ERP source data and source system identifier tracking
Strong documentation skills and prior experience delivering formal knowledge transfer/training to internal teams
Ability to work independently in a remote, US-based engagement
Nice to Have
Experience with data governance frameworks alongside MDM implementations
Background in product data management specifically (PIM-adjacent experience)
Prior consulting/client-facing delivery experience
