Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Data Analyst with extensive experience in inventory and billing systems. This role is critical to ensuring accurate data management, reporting, and automation across client-facing platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data visualization, cross-platform integration, and operational analytics, with a strong understanding of IT service environments and tools such as ServiceNow, Aria/VROps, and Nagios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, validate, and maintain client inventory and billing data across multiple systems and platforms.
- Develop and manage dashboards and reports using Tableau and Excel to support client billing accuracy and inventory tracking.
- Automate recurring data processes and reporting workflows using Excel macros, Power BI, or Tableau scripting.
- Execute cross-platform queries and integrate APIs to consolidate data from disparate systems.
- Collaborate with client teams, IT operations, and finance to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
- Respond to client inquiries and emails professionally within a 2-business-day SLA.
- Support ITIL-aligned service management processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document data models, workflows, and reporting standards for internal and client-facing use.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis with a strong focus on client inventory and billing systems.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong knowledge of Tableau data structures and dashboard development.
- Experience with Power BI and automation scripting.
- Proven ability to work with cross-platform queries and APIs.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service delivery environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Familiarities:
- ServiceNow: Data access, query building, and API integration.
- Aria/VROps: Query development and data extraction for inventory and performance metrics.
- Nagios: API usage for monitoring and alert data analysis.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to respond to customer emails professionally within 2 business days.
- Collaboration and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability in handling change management processes.
