Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst Entry Level to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities for a leading organization in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with cross-functional teams to support business decision-making.

This role involves assisting with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and compliance reporting, while collaborating with multiple departments and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial modeling, revenue forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare and maintain budget, cost tracking, and financial reports
• Support month-end close activities and ensure data accuracy
• Perform financial impact analysis for business and operational decisions
• Research and apply GAAP principles and financial policies
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls
• Compile and analyze financial data for management presentations
• Coordinate with internal teams across finance and operations
• Support limited accounts payable, inventory tracking, and reporting tasks
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 1 5 years of experience in:
  • Financial analysis
  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with senior leadership and multiple business units
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance preferred

• Experience with financial systems or ERP platforms
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience preparing executive-level financial presentations
