Job Title: Senior SQL DBA (Hybrid)
Location: Chandler, AZ (3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SQL Database Administrator to support critical database migration initiatives and ongoing production environments. This role will play a key part in SQL Server upgrades, M365 migrations, and ensuring high availability and performance of enterprise systems. The position requires hands-on expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex SQL Server database solutions
- Lead and support SQL Server 2016 to 2022 migration projects
- Provide BAU (Business as Usual) support for mission-critical applications
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate technical initiatives
- Support M365 migrations, with emphasis on SharePoint Online
- Perform proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Participate in on-call rotation and weekend support
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of SQL Server Administration experience
- Strong expertise in AlwaysOn Availability Groups (performance & tuning)
- Hands-on experience with Query Store for performance troubleshooting
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSDS
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability environments
- Basic familiarity with Linux systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Redis, Splunk, Dynatrace, or TigerGraph
- Prior experience in banking or financial services environments

- Hybrid role (minimum 3 days onsite in Chandler, AZ)
