Job Title: Test Automation Engineer with Playwright
Duration: 18+ Months Hybrid
Location: Dallas. TX / Memphis, TN
Job Description
We are looking for experienced Senior Test Automation Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, automation framework development, scripting, and end-to-end application testing.
The ideal candidate should have a solid software testing background with the ability to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated test suites. Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools such as Claude is highly desirable.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of overall software testing/QA experience, including 3 4+ years of hands-on test automation.
- Strong practical experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end test automation.
- Experience designing and maintaining reusable, scalable test automation frameworks.
- Strong scripting/programming experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or another applicable language.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, defect analysis, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Git and modern testing/development practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using Claude or similar AI-assisted development/testing tools.
- Experience with AI-assisted test generation, debugging, or automation optimisation.
- Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar API testing tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.
Ideal Candidate: A strong hands-on Playwright Automation Engineer who can independently design automation frameworks, write and maintain reliable test scripts, troubleshoot failures, and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Claude is an advantage.
