We are seeking an experienced Digital Asset Coordinator (5+ years) to manage, organize, and optimize digital assets for the Marketing Creative Services team. This role is responsible for maintaining and evolving the Digital Asset Management (DAM) ecosystem, including support for modernization and migration to enterprise DAM (EDAM) platforms.

The ideal candidate will ensure strong metadata governance, improve asset discoverability, and provide system support to users across the organization. This role requires strong judgment, initiative, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related platforms

  • Enhance asset discoverability by applying accurate, consistent metadata aligned with business and brand standards

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of digital assets—from ingestion and tagging to governance, maintenance, and archival

  • Support DAM modernization and migration initiatives (e.g., DAM to EDAM), including:

    • Asset preparation and cleanup

    • Metadata alignment and standardization

    • Validation and quality assurance of migrated assets

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for DAM systems:

    • Maintain documentation, processes, and governance standards

    • Provide training and support to internal users

  • Identify and implement improvements to metadata frameworks and asset workflows

  • Organize and maintain a wide range of assets, including:

    • Photography (campaign, product, internal)

    • Video and B-roll

    • Design assets and brand elements (logos, templates)

    • Stock imagery and special project materials

  • Act as the primary point of contact for asset intake, requests, and distribution across internal teams and external partners

  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, content, and development teams to support DAM-related initiatives

  • Develop and maintain standardized naming conventions and taxonomy frameworks

  • Ensure compliance with governance standards for asset organization, labeling, and usage across channels

  • Research and recommend tools, technologies, and process improvements to enhance DAM efficiency and scalability

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management or similar role

  • Hands-on experience with DAM platforms, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

  • Strong understanding of metadata strategy, taxonomy, and governance

  • Experience managing asset libraries and lifecycle workflows

  • Knowledge of file formats and optimization (JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, EPS, vector, raster)

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), including image editing and retouching

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience supporting DAM migration or implementation projects (DAM → EDAM)

  • Familiarity with enterprise content management systems

  • Knowledge of asset licensing and compliance tracking

  • Understanding of organizational workflows within large enterprises
