Description: Job DescriptionAbout the RoleIn this contingent assignment, you will play a key role in advancing complex, large-scale Data Management initiatives. You will provide strategic consultation on data-focused programs, evaluate multi-dimensional challenges, and guide the development of solutions that align with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
This role requires strong analytical leadership, the ability to drive end-to-end requirements gathering, and expertise in translating business needs into actionable technical specifications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, influence decision-making, and ensure alignment across business, technology, and data governance functions.
Responsibilities- Lead requirements gathering sessions and manage the full requirements analysis lifecycle.
- Consult on large-scale Data Management initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Analyze complex, multi-faceted business and data challenges, including situations with ambiguous or unprecedented factors.
- Create clear, well-structured JIRA user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Perform data profiling, data quality analysis, and interpret complex relational and NoSQL data.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as data flows, process flows, metadata definitions, and data lineage.
- Partner strategically with client stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Drive process improvements and support Agile Scrum and Kanban delivery teams.
- Assist with data controls, issue remediation, and adherence to data governance policies.
Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management, or equivalent experience obtained through a combination of work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong SQL expertise, including joins, unions, subqueries, and interpretation of pseudo-SQL logic.
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL technologies (MongoDB), and JSON structures.
- Familiarity with Data Management practices such as data lineage, metadata, data quality controls, and remediation processes.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional discussions and influence stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum and Kanban environments.
- Strong communication, documentation, and analytical problem-solving skills.
