ALIP QA Tester – Annuity Transformation Program
Location: holmdel, NJ
Duration: 12 plus months contract with possible extension
Core Responsibilities
• Perform QA testing for annuity products migrated to Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP) as part of the transformation program.
• Analyze business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications (FSD), and user stories related to annuity product transformation.
• Design and execute test cases and test scenarios for annuity lifecycle processes including:
• New business / policy issuance
• Premium processing
• Policy servicing and endorsements
• Withdrawals and surrender transactions
• Annuitization and payouts
• Validate data migration and transformation from legacy annuity systems to ALIP.
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for transformed annuity workflows.
• Validate product configurations, riders, and annuity calculations within ALIP.
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira or HP ALM.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams during Agile sprints.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist business users with defect triage.
• Conduct backend validation using SQL for annuity transactions and migrated data.
Required Skills
• Strong experience in annuity or life insurance domain.
• Hands-on testing experience with Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP).
• Knowledge of annuity products and transactions (withdrawals, annuitization, surrender, payout options).
• Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and sprint-based delivery.
Preferred Skills
• Experience validating data migration and legacy-to-ALIP transformation.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Automation testing exposure using Selenium.
• Understanding of annuity calculations and financial validations.
