Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Professional Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing complex technology programs and projects, PMO methodologies, budgeting, and stakeholder communication and a proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes across the full project lifecycle while translating program objectives into actionable milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Lead one or more medium-sized project teams and oversee components of larger technology programs.
- Contribute directly to delivery, staff projects, assign work, and set deadlines to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Interface with clients, internal stakeholders, and project leadership to communicate metrics and recommend program changes.
- Define objectives, schedules, scope, and budgets to drive deliverable quality across all phases.
- Identify and mitigate risks through status reporting, project updates, and issue management.
- Prepare detailed Statements of Work and secure stakeholder agreement and approvals.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to junior colleagues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives through a full project lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies; PMP or equivalent methodology expertise.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Ability to translate program objectives into clear, achievable project milestones.
- Strong executive presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity.
Preferred Skills:
- 3+ years of Medicaid and Medicare project experience.
- Experience preparing SOWs and managing client approvals in regulated environments.
