Description: Job Description:About the job We're looking for a hands-on Product Owner to help deliver technology capabilities across corporate and commercial banking. You'll work closely with engineering teams to turn business needs into executable requirements - owning the backlog, writing user stories, and driving Agile delivery in a complex, regulated enterprise environment. This role suits someone who thinks like a business analyst and executes like a product owner: comfortable partnering daily with developers, translating strategy into shippable increments, and balancing business needs against technical and compliance constraints.
Responsibilities - Own and groom the team backlog; translate epics and business requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready and support sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
- Gather and document business requirements, process flows, and use cases; maintain traceability from objective to delivered functionality
- Serve as the primary day-to-day product contact for delivery teams - resolving ambiguity, making requirement decisions, and supporting defect triage
- Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders on roadmap planning, prioritization, and cross-team dependencies
- Factor regulatory, audit, data quality, entitlements, and operational risk considerations into solution design
Minimum Qualifications - 3+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in Agile delivery
- Experience writing user stories/acceptance criteria and managing Agile backlogs directly with engineering teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in large enterprise technology organizations
Preferred Qualifications - Background in commercial/wholesale banking, treasury, capital markets, or lending technology
- Familiarity with CRM and lending platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, loan origination systems)
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, and enterprise architecture
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban certification or equivalent experience
