Description

We are looking for an ERP Project Manager to oversee a major enterprise system initiative in Dayton, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position will guide the full project lifecycle, bringing together technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver a well-coordinated outcome. The role calls for a strong leader who can keep timelines, priorities, and communication aligned while supporting a smooth implementation.

Responsibilities:
Direct the ERP project from initial planning through deployment and post-launch stabilization.
Build and maintain detailed schedules, key milestones, budget tracking, and dependency plans to support successful execution.
Lead coordination across IT, business units, vendors, and implementation partners to keep workstreams aligned.
Oversee requirements gathering, solution delivery, test readiness, data conversion activities, system interfaces, and release planning.
Collaborate with business leaders to clarify operational needs and translate them into actionable project objectives.
Monitor project risks, issues, and blockers, and drive timely resolution through clear ownership and follow-up.
Provide leadership with consistent progress updates, decision support, and visibility into scope, timeline, and delivery health.
Manage project communications, documentation, and change readiness efforts to support adoption and execution.
Ensure all phases of the implementation remain organized, controlled, and aligned with business goals.

Requirements

Proven experience leading ERP migration initiatives in an IT project management capacity.
Background managing large-scale technology deployments, platform migrations, or enterprise transformation projects.
Demonstrated success coordinating cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders.
Strong skills in project planning, risk control, stakeholder communication, and overall project governance.
Experience supporting data migration, system integrations, testing cycles, and go-live execution.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and standard project management practices.
PMP certification is preferred.
Experience with Workday ERP, including implementation or migration work, is highly desirable.
