Summary

We are currently looking for a Epic Analyst  and from what I have seen in your profile you are a right match.

Position Title: Epic Analyst (3377356)
Location:  Remote - West Coast candidates highly preferred. PST clients will require PST attention.
Duration: 6 months to start but open to convert FTE
Hours per Week: 40 (8 hrs/day)
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed

Job Description Summary:

Required:
• Must be cupid certified (would like to see multiple EPIC certifications, if possible)
o Hospital experience is important - MUST NEED at least 5-6 years experience
• 5 years’ experience in build – MUST have strong experience/knowledge. The team will not provide additional training or mentorship. Contractor must be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Fully independent
• This is not a Project management role
• Cariology PACS upgrade – some PACS experience would be good, they have a PACS team they will be talking to

Position Details:
Analyzes, configures, develops, tests, implements, supports, and maintains Epic clinical applications and related solutions to meet complex operational and technical requirements. Partners with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate advanced clinical workflows into effective system solutions, while independently leading optimization efforts and serving as an escalation resource for complex or high risk issues.

Education:
• Associate’s Degree in nursing, health information management, health informatics, information technology, computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, allied health professions, or a related field.
• The equivalent of 4 years of progressively responsible related work experience with an emphasis in clinical applications and systems in health care, or a combination of education and experience, may be substituted for a degree.

Certificates:
• Current certification in assigned Epic application(s) .
• Preferred License or certification in related clinical field or information systems.

Technical requirements:
• Advanced working knowledge of configuring, testing, supporting, and optimizing Epic and other third party applications in a complex operational environment.
• Demonstrates deep understanding of clinical workflows and terminology and independently applies this knowledge to complex analysis, troubleshooting, and solution design.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools to support advanced documentation, analysis, and cross functional communication.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Must be able to independently analyze and resolve complex clinical application issues and assess patient safety, regulatory, and downstream impacts.
• Must prioritize competing clinical and operational demands and make informed decisions with minimal oversight.
• Proactively anticipates risks and ensures stakeholders have the information required to support safe and effective clinical decision making.
• Must be able to independently analyze and resolve complex clinical application issues and assess patient safety, regulatory, and downstream impacts.
