Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver effective technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, functional documentation, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

  • Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and JAD sessions.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers.

  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.

  • Support Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization.

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate results, and track defects.

  • Manage requirement changes and maintain clear project documentation.

  • Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.

  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.

  • Proficiency in BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.

  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis for validating business requirements.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in banking, financial services, healthcare, insurance, or other enterprise domains.

  • Experience with API requirements, system integrations, and data mapping.

  • Exposure to reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.

  • Experience supporting UAT, defect management, and production releases.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
