 Duty / Task

Role-Specific Description

Lead enterprise program governance and strategy

Own the end-to-end operating model across the enterprise portfolio, including Epic Gold Stars, Epic Honor Roll, MyChart Honor Roll, BCA, Epic AI and optimization, physician acquisitions, CRES, Cardiology, Pathology, Data and Research, and other assigned priorities. Define program outcomes, governance cadence, integrated roadmaps, decision rights, annual targets, prioritization criteria, escalation paths, transition plans, and success measures. Lead solution development for four active Gold Star initiatives, translating requirements into viable approaches and coordinating the cross-functional work needed to advance each solution.

Coordinate cross-functional delivery and dependencies

Orchestrate work across Epic application teams, Clinical Informatics, Operations, Nursing, physicians, Cardiology, Pathology, Data and Research, CRES, physician-acquisition stakeholders, Legal, technical services, BRMs, project managers, analytics, training, infrastructure, security, procurement, and vendors. Clarify ownership, sequence work, manage interdependencies, resolve blockers, and maintain accountability across concurrent initiatives.

Drive performance, adoption, and value realization

Translate program requirements and organizational priorities into actionable plans. For Gold Stars and Honor Roll, monitor configuration and in-use performance and address adoption gaps. Across BCA, acquisitions, CRES, clinical domains, and other initiatives, define measurable outcomes and move work from opportunity and intake through sizing, approval, implementation, adoption, sustainment, and transition. Maintain a pipeline of Gold Star opportunities and move multiple initiatives through assessment, solutioning, sizing, value definition, prioritization, approval, implementation readiness, adoption, and sustainment.

Provide executive reporting and decision support

Develop decision-ready dashboards, scorecards, executive summaries, steering materials, and recommendations. Communicate status, business value, risks, trade-offs, resource needs, decisions, and next actions.

Manage program risks, issues, and readiness

Maintain program-level visibility to risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies. Anticipate barriers involving scope, capacity, workflow, licensing, contracting, security, integration, data, training, adoption, and operational readiness; develop mitigation options and escalate early.

Lead intake, sizing, prioritization, and approval readiness

Coordinate Lean Impact Assessments, level-of-effort estimates, business cases, intake records, advisory review, ownership confirmation, target dates, and approval pathways. Prepare and supply a value statement document for each Gold Star initiative requiring approval, articulating the expected clinical, operational, financial, or strategic value and supporting the initiative through the appropriate review and approval pathway. Manage multiple Gold Star opportunities concurrently through the pipeline, coordinating required assessments, estimates, value documentation, prioritization decisions, stakeholder alignment, and approval actions.

Standardize processes and transition sustainable ownership
