Role Overview:
• We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and hybrid and multi-cloud networking.
• This role will focus on designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure network architectures across cloud and on premises environments.
• The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a distributed, remote environment and can collaborate effectively with teams operating primarily within CST business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code.
• Architect and support hybrid and multi-cloud networking solutions across environments.
• Implement and maintain network connectivity, routing, and security between cloud providers and on premises systems.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and platform teams to ensure network solutions align with enterprise standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement of cloud networking standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proven experience designing and supporting hybrid and multi-cloud networking architectures.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts such as VPCs/VNETs, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and connectivity (VPN, interconnects, etc.).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification (strongly preferred).
• Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Familiarity with networking best practices for security, resilience, and scalability.
