Help Desk Technician (Onsite - Topeka, KS)We are seeking a motivated
Help Desk Technician to join a dynamic IT support team in an onsite role based in Topeka, KS. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional with hands-on experience who is looking to grow within a large, structured environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide end-user technical support via in-person, phone, and remote channels
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software
- Image, deploy, and redeploy desktop and laptop devices
- Maintain accurate hardware/software inventory and asset records
- Support local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi connectivity, and communication systems
- Assist with setup and support of audio/visual equipment for meetings
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
Required Skills & Qualifications- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
- Experience in distributed computing environments
- Hands-on experience with device imaging and deployment
- Familiarity with asset and inventory management processes
- Ability to document technical processes clearly and effectively

Experience & Education- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting end users in an IT environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Certifications:- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
Work Environment & Physical Requirements- Primarily seated at a workstation with frequent keyboard/mouse use
- Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting (up to 20 lbs)
- Exposure to standard office and IT equipment
- Adherence to safety procedures when handling or installing equipment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
