Genesis10 is currently seeking a UI/UX Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is focused on front-end architecture and the delivery of large-scale UI portals and web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating and scaling component libraries using a modern tech stack including React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, and will be experienced in component-driven architecture and API integration.
Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript
- Build and scale reusable component libraries and front-end systems
- Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs to deliver dynamic content
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end engineers to implement application features
- Work within a micro-frontend or federated module architecture
- Document components and architecture using tools like Storybook
Requirements: - 5+ years in UI/UX engineering, design systems, or front-end architecture
- Proven experience delivering UI portals/webapps with a large user base
- Expertise in creating and scaling component libraries
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Experience with state management libraries (Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or similar)
- Knowledge of micro-frontends or federated module architectures
- Experience with component-driven architecture and documentation (Storybook or similar)
- Experience with API integration (REST/GraphQL)
Desired skills: - Experience with Next.js (App Router, server components, SSR, rendering strategies)
- Prior work with identity frameworks (SSO, OAuth2, SAML)
- Experience with real-time applications using WebSockets, socket.io, or similar
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
