Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead enterprise technology initiatives that support business transformation, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. Initially, this individual will oversee front-end e-commerce projects and also potentially some M&A integration work, coordinate technical and business stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery from planning through implementation.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, and enjoys working across both business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead medium to large enterprise technology initiatives through the full project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and status reporting.
- Coordinate activities across business units, technical teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Facilitate project governance, steering committee meetings, and executive communications.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on schedule.
- Manage scope, timelines, resource allocation, and change management activities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
- Drive issue resolution while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Promote continuous improvement in project management processes and delivery methodology.
Required Experience
- 7+ years managing enterprise IT projects.
- Experience delivering complex business application or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, Waterfall in particular
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or similar certification a +.
- Experience within retail, distribution, or supply chain, is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise business systems and cloud-based technologies.
- Experience managing third-party implementation partners.
