Junior Endpoint Security AdministratorOverviewWe are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented
Junior Endpoint Security Administrator to join our Endpoint Security team. This is an
entry-level, operations-focused role designed to support the day-to-day health and integrity of our endpoint security tools while allowing senior engineers to focus on deeper engineering initiatives.
This position will act as the
operational point person for monitoring, triaging, and escalating endpoint security-related issues. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with ticket queues, dashboards, and end users, and is eager to learn security tools in a collaborative environment.
Team & Environment- Endpoint Security team consisting of 7 team members
- Mix of remote and onsite team members
- Standard business hours
- Candidates may work fully remote, but must be available during Central Time (CST)
- Net-new role created to restore operational focus within the security team
- Strong onboarding support including job shadowing and guided ramp-up
- Not expected to operate independently right away
Security Tools You'll SupportYou will help support the infrastructure and operational workflow for key endpoint security platforms, including:
- CrowdStrike - Endpoint Protection / Antivirus
- Forcepoint - Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Tanium - Endpoint Management
Prior experience with these tools is not required-training will be provided.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support & Monitoring- Serve as the first point of contact for endpoint security-related operational tasks
- Monitor dashboards, alerts, Slack channels, and queues to ensure nothing is missed
- Track and escalate:
- Incident trends
- Repetitive issues
- Certificate expirations
- System health concerns
- Perform routine checks and quarterly application reviews
- Help remove repetitive operational work from senior engineers' workloads
Incident & Ticket Management- Monitor and manage endpoint security tickets, primarily through ServiceNow
- Provide first-pass triage of incoming incidents
- Route and escalate issues appropriately to engineers
- Collaborate with the security team to investigate and resolve incidents
- Document resolutions and contribute to internal knowledge base articles
Collaboration & Communication- Work closely with engineers, analysts, and other IT teams
- Provide clear communication when issues are identified or need escalation
- Support end users during troubleshooting calls and ticket resolution
- Advocate for follow-up and visibility on unresolved operational items
Required Qualifications- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field OR equivalent experience
- Some experience in:
- Help desk or IT support
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Working directly with end users
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
