A technology services organization in Texas is seeking a Java Full Stack Cloud Developer to join their growing Azure environment in Fort Worth.
About the Opportunity:
Assignment Length: 6 to 12 months
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using modern engineering practices.
- Build and support microservices-based solutions with a focus on scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
- Work with Azure services and data pipeline orchestration to support cloud-based solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Support CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and secure deployment practices across the application lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Hands-on experience with Java application development
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory and data integration or data pipeline orchestration
- Experience with microservices, SOA, and full-stack development
- Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Desired Skills:
- Azure certification, such as AZ-204 or AZ-305
- Experience with event-driven or streaming architectures
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Git, GitHub, and CloudSmith
- Strong scripting and automation skills with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience with Dynatrace and Mezmo
- Familiarity with cloud-native security best practices
