Genesis10 is currently seeking an Expert Copilot Solutions Engineer - Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking an Expert Copilot Solutions Engineer to architect, design, and operationalize enterprise-grade AI solutions leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI services. This role is responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and compliant Copilot ecosystems that enable intelligent automation, conversational AI agents, and data-driven decision-making across Microsoft 365 and integrated enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities: - Drive enterprise adoption of Copilot and AI agent solutions, enabling secure, scalable automation and intelligent digital workflows
- Test, validate, and certify Copilot solutions to ensure functional accuracy, performance, and alignment with enterprise standards
- Evaluate and modify governance, security, and compliance controls to support new Copilot feature releases and capabilities
- Ensure secure and compliant deployments across regulated environments (e.g., GCCC High), including identity, data access, and grounding controls
- Establish and operate a governed Copilot platform (CoE model) to balance innovation with risk management and policy enforcement
- Define and enforce standardized ALM and DevOps practices for Copilot solutions to reduce manual effort and minimize production risk
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to data exposure, model misuse, and non-compliant AI implementations
- Design and validate RAG-based Copilot architectures, including grounding strategies across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and enterprise data sources
- Build and test Copilot Studio agents, prompts, and orchestration workflows, ensuring reliability and reusability
- Integrate Copilot solutions with enterprise systems (Graph API, Azure services, data platforms) while maintaining strict access controls
- Implement and validate monitoring, logging, and audit frameworks for Copilot usage, performance, and compliance
- Partner with security, engineering, and business teams to enable responsible AI adoption, including policy alignment and release readiness validation
- Participate in Agile delivery cycles (planning, testing, release validation) and produce technical and governance documentation
Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, cloud development, or enterprise platform engineering
- Proven delivery of enterprise-grade AI/Copilot or automation platforms at scale
- Hands-on Microsoft Copilot Studio expertise including Agent design, prompt flows, orchestration, and lifecycle management
- Experience building enterprise copilots / AI agents including workflow orchestration, approvals, error handling/retry patterns, child flows, and custom connectors
- Strong RAG architecture knowledge including Embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and grounded AI systems
- Strong experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure SQL / SQL Server, and complex data modeling
- Proven ability to integrate multiple systems using REST APIs, custom connectors, and Azure services (Blob Storage, Logic Apps)
- Proficiency in SQL querying, performance tuning, and data pipeline integration
- Hands-on experience implementing Power Platform ALM, Managed/unmanaged solutions, solution layering, and environment strategies (Dev/Test/Prod)
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Power Platform Build Tools
- Experience implementing Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), SSO, RBAC, conditional access, service principals, and app registrations
- Experience working in Azure Government / GCC / GCC High or regulated environments
- Experience building and integrating Power BI dashboards and reports
