Summary

Systems Engineer III

Contingent upon prime contractor approval

Purpose:

Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Systems Engineer III in Huntsville, AL
In this role you will support the MDA Chief Engineer in transforming the way in which the agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with MBSE tools and is interested in utilizing those tools to help move the agency away from document-driven engineering

Job Description:

Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts.
Leverage your skills with a variety of MBSE tools.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on models.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in STEM field, 7+ years of experience
Strong Model-based engineering experience
Ability to excel in a team setting
Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains

Desired Qualifications:

Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.)
MDA Experience
Expertise in C2, data transport, PNT, or interoperability

Security Requirements:

Active Secret clearance

Travel Requirements:

Minimal Travel; 10% or less
If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. (More information regarding REAL ID can be found: ;/li>

Physical Requirements:

Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
Communicating with others to exchange information
Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
