Description
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our team in Grenada, Mississippi. In this role, you will provide technical and commercial expertise to assist with product development, engineering projects, and customer support. You will play a key role in helping clients select suitable heat transfer products and contribute to the design and application process.
Responsibilities:
Offer technical and commercial support to Sales and Marketing teams while fostering strong relationships with customers.
Assist clients in selecting heat transfer products tailored to their specific applications and material requirements.
Utilize knowledge of heat transfer principles to guide product design and application decisions.
Learn and effectively use proprietary in-house software for product selection and design.
Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external customers on software usage.
Participate in the review of complex or large-scale applications, focusing on heat transfer and production engineering.
Provide detailed information for the creation of drawings required for submittals and production.
Collaborate with production managers to ensure designs align with manufacturing methodologies.
Address quality concerns and support resolutions by providing technical insights.
Travel occasionally to customer sites or industry trade shows, with travel limited to 10% of the time.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as MathCad.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary systems.
Familiarity with common drafting platforms is advantageous.
Knowledge of industry-specific code requirements and calculations is preferred.
Understanding of compliance programs such as UL or similar standards is beneficial.
Experience with Active Directory, Dell Technologies, and Cisco Technologies.
Strong background in computer hardware and application support.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
