Role OverviewThe Principal Security Systems Architect serves as the
single accountable technical authority for a globally deployed
LenelS2 OnGuard physical access control platform that supports badge access, site security operations, and compliance workflows across a worldwide footprint. This role owns platform architecture, engineering standards, security hardening, lifecycle strategy, and highest-level incident escalation. Because the system is mission-critical, this position is essential to maintaining operational continuity, reducing security and audit risk, and enabling modernization without destabilizing day-to-day operations.

Top Critical Skills & Experience- LenelS2 OnGuard expertise (required): Deep, hands-on experience architecting, operating, and supporting the OnGuard platform; similar tools are not acceptable substitutes
- Enterprise security systems architecture: Designing, standardizing, and governing globally deployed, mission-critical platforms
- High-severity incident ownership: Acting as L4/L5 escalation lead, driving root cause analysis and recovery

Key Responsibilities- Act as the single accountable technical authority for the physical access control platform globally
- Define and maintain global architecture standards, reference designs, and engineering documentation
- Own platform security posture, including hardening and remediation of cybersecurity and audit findings
- Serve as L4/L5 escalation owner for major incidents, reducing outage duration and recurrence
- Balance platform stability and uptime with upgrades, performance optimization, and modernization efforts
- Lead technical direction, licensing oversight, and escalation management with key vendors
- Partner closely with physical security operations and enterprise IT teams
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Spring, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
