BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Engineering Project Coordinator for an opportunity at Sunnyvale, CA Location!

Position Title: Engineering Project Coordinator

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Anticipated Start Date: 02/20/2025

Expected Duration: 12+ months

Job Type: Full Time (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - Remote

Pay Range: $60/hr to $70/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Key responsibilities:

• Collect allocation requests and manage distribution logistics


• Support budget management and forecasting - Manage procurement and keep track of Purchase Orders


• Partner with Logistics team to ensure fast shipping


• Manage multiple programs concurrently


• Partner with Technical Program Managers (TPM) and Engineering to support Wearables program(s) execution and delivery.


• Coordinate hardware distribution efforts including logistics activities, inventory management, and allocation collections.


• Support budget tracking and forecasting, including requesting purchase orders, ensuring timely invoice submission, and partnering with cross functional teams to drive forecast accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Specialist or similar role in consumer electronics


• Experience in hardware development, worked with vendors domestically and internationally


• Experience managing complex spreadsheets, accounting tools, coordinating across different teams, vendors and time zones


• 5+ years of experience required.


• Bachelor's degree required.


• Experience in procurement - issuing and managing POs.


• Experience in distribution logistics.


• Some background in managing budget.


• Proficient in using spreadsheets, power point slide decks.


• Hardware Experience (Ex-Apple similar role is very relevant experience)


• Experience in procurement - issuing and managing POs.


• Experience working with Bill of Materials (BOMs) and/or FATP Build Matrices

Nice to Have:

• Logistics role - previous working experience with vendors in Asia.


• Budget management.


• Experience working with Bill of Materials (BOMs) and/or FATP Build Matrices.
