Location: Onsite - Boardman, OR
Pay: $25-$30
OverviewWe're seeking a
Data Center Technician II to support day-to-day operations within a production data center environment. This role involves hands-on server hardware support, basic system troubleshooting, and working within established processes alongside a technical team. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities- Perform server and hardware troubleshooting, installation, and component replacements
- Support basic Linux environments and assist with system diagnostics
- Use a ticketing system to track work and document resolutions
- Follow data center procedures related to safety, security, and operations
- Collaborate with team members and escalate issues as needed
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a data center or similar technical environment
- Hands-on experience with server hardware
- Basic Linux and networking knowledge
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow detailed processes
Work Environment- Onsite role in a secure data center facility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and enclosed spaces
