Job Title : Endpoint Security Engineer (MDE & Intune)
Location : Atlanta, GA
Duration : 12+ months
Deep Understanding of Endpoint architecture, device management and threat response Experience with Defender Suite and Tools like Tanium, SCCM, Rapid7, Wiz, and mobile management (Jamf, Mobileiron)
For this role, resumes should demonstrate strong, hands-on depth, not just exposure, in endpoint security particularly in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Intune. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who show:
Deep Endpoint & Threat Experience
- Clear ownership of MDE implementations, including deployment, configuration, tuning, alert investigation, and response
- Strong Intune experience, such as device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, and integration with Conditional Access
- Experience with endpoint tools like Defender Suite, SCCM/MECM, JAMF, Tanium, or similar, with emphasis on what the candidate personally implemented or led
Hands-On Implementation (Not Just Exposure)
- Resumes should highlight what was delivered, not just tools listed
- Keywords like led, implemented, owned, rolled out, migrated, designed are important
- Candidates whose background is primarily internal IT support or ticket-based operations may not be the best fit unless they clearly show project ownership
Enterprise / Consulting Delivery Experience
- Experience in large enterprise environments or consulting engagements is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently within a workstream, managing tasks end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Experience producing client-ready deliverables, such as documentation, status reports, or presentations for stakeholders
Communication & Documentation
- Evidence of interaction with clients or senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to document designs, configurations, and progress clearly and professionally
PMO Capabilities
- Independent Delivery: Proactively drives end-to-end task management, milestone tracking, and daily status updates without requiring high-touch direction
- High-Fidelity Documentation: Conducts thorough research to produce highly accurate, detail-oriented project documentation and tracking artifacts right the first time
Client Engagement
- Executive Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored for leadership consumption
- Client-Ready Deliverables: Capable of independently drafting polished slide decks, status reports, and emails that build client rapport and require minimal review cycles
