Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mid Level Full Stack Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Addison, TX or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking a skilled Mid Level Full Stack Developer with strong experience in building modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in ReactJS for front-end development and Java (Spring Boot preferred) for backend services, along with a solid understanding of databases, Kafka microservices and cloud-native architectures. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack features from user interface to data persistence, ensuring performance, security, and high-quality user experiences.
Requirements: - 5+ years of professional software development experience in full stack focused roles
- Strong proficiency in ReactJS, including component-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), hooks, and responsive UI design
- Hands-on experience with Java, preferably using Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs and backend services
- Hands-on experience on OpenShift Containers
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of databases, including writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Experience building and consuming RESTful web services
- Understanding of HTML5, Kafka, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn)
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize both front end and back end components
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
Desired skills: - Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and ability to collaborate with designers
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Knowledge of performance optimization for both UI and backend layers
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, JUnit, Mockito)
- Exposure to automated front end build and testing tools (Webpack, Vite, Cypress, Playwright)
- Familiarity with database performance tuning and PL/SQL optimization
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or MobX
- Understanding of security best practices, including authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), secure coding, and data protection
- Ability to work in a DevOps-oriented environment and support deployment automation
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environment
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
