Job Title: Copado QA Lead / Test Automation Lead - 12+ years

Location: Remote

Duration: Contract

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define the overall QA strategy and architecture for Copado-based delivery pipelines.
• Design and implement automated testing strategies using Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) and other Copado QA capabilities.
• Configure and manage Copado pipelines, quality gates, validation processes, and release controls.
• Integrate automated testing into Copado CI/CD workflows for continuous quality validation.
• Define test automation frameworks, reusable test components, test data strategies, and automation standards.
• Establish functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing strategies within Copado.
• Develop QA metrics and dashboards to track automation coverage, defect trends, test execution, deployment quality, and release stability.
• Drive shift-left testing and continuous testing practices throughout the Copado delivery lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to increase automation and reduce manual testing and regression efforts.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Copado QA and automation engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex test automation and pipeline issues in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Maintain QA standards, best practices, documentation, and governance processes.
• Continuously improve Copado testing and release management processes.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Copado and its QA capabilities.
• Strong experience with Copado Robotic Testing (CRT).
• Experience designing and implementing automated testing within Copado pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Copado CI/CD, pipelines, deployment processes, quality gates, and release management.
• Ability to define QA governance, standards, metrics, and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Copado certification, preferably in testing or DevOps.

Preferred Experience

• Experience leading Copado QA automation initiatives.
• Experience implementing Copado QA solutions in large or complex delivery environments.
• Experience establishing enterprise-level test automation standards and governance.
• Experience mentoring and guiding QA automation teams.
