This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as an IT Business Analyst - Data & Regulatory Reporting intern within State Street's Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. What You Will Do:

In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities:
  • Support reporting initiatives, assist in documentation, and gain exposure to global financial regulations and enterprise reporting tools.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements for regulatory reporting.
  • Support the preparation and validation of financial reports under various regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, CFTC, MiFID, EMIR, HKMA, MAS, ASIC, Canada).
  • Participate in data reconciliation and variance analysis.
  • Help maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and data mapping documentation.
  • Collaborate with Front to Back Office, Client Onboarding, Collateral Management and Technology teams to understand reporting workflows.
  • Contribute to testing activities and process improvement initiatives with IT Automation solution.
  • Research regulatory changes and summarize potential impacts, and leveraging AI-powered tool like Microsoft Copilot
  • Gain hands-on experience in trading data analysis, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
