core responsibilities

Drives end to end design, implementation, and delivery of data platform engineering components for Employee Data as a Service programs, including building scalable data pipelines. Designs and develops data structures for enterprise employee data consumption in visualization dashboarding software, transforms raw data into conformed data for data science use. Designs platform data software, schemas, tables, and structures architecture to enable data consumption. Engages in ongoing quality and performance improvement to ensure reliability and data security. Works with business and systems analysts to understand end-user requirements and translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions. Designs for release and configuration management. Assists in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues. Participates in code reviews to ensure quality, coaching, as necessary. Supports multiple projects at once, both in terms of delivery and in a consulting capacity. Works closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient. Works in an agile environment, contributing to story sizing and reviews user stories to ensure a quality user experience, well-defined acceptance criteria and thorough test coverage.

100% telecommuting permitted. Candidate may reside anywhere in the U.S.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in Information Technology.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in all of the following:
  • Enterprise system design, implementation and support;
  • SDLC Experience; and,
  • BI software development.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in all of the following:
  • Snowflake / Kafka;
  • SQL, Python, PowerShell or JavaScript; and,
  • Data modelling (Data Architecture).

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$202,790 - $218,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
